The governing body for the Birkenhead City Cricket Club is The Auckland Cricket Association.
Birkenhead Junior Cricket also come under the umbrella of North Harbour Junior Cricket at representative level (U17 and U19)

Andrew has been involved with the administration of BCCC since the mid-2000s, initially looking after the finances and then becoming the chair in the early 2010s. He wants to see BCCC continue to serve the people of Kaipatiki and develop new ways of delivering cricket. In addition to being on the board, Andrew played for BCCC in the rarified air of the lower social One Day grades for 20 seasons. He has no claim to fame from all these years, aside from maybe once sliding to take a catch, but then he may have just tripped up.
